Sand Dollar · Australian Opal · 18k Gold

Elegant sea-inspired jewelry

$1200.00

Hand carved sand dollar pendant, inspired by the quiet geometry of this ocean fossil.

Carved from Australian opal potch, a material that formed over millions of years as mineral rich silica slowly replaced organic matter, including ancient wood. Subtle inclusions within the stone are traces of that process, small remnants of what once lived, left intentionally as part of its story.

Nothing here was forced into perfection. The surface remains softly matte, holding a calm, natural presence and a gentle, grounding feel in the hand.

The form is shaped to be explored. Its raised patterns and small details invite touch, something to absentmindedly trace between your fingers, bringing a quiet sense of focus and ease.

At the center, a natural Australian opal cabochon holds a soft inner light. It does not flash brightly, but shifts quietly, revealing subtle tones as it catches the light throughout the day.

Suspended on a solid 18k gold bail.

One of a kind. No duplicates.
